Expensive pints aren’t some mythological creatures, no, they’re very real and many cities across Europe have been suffering from it. But you won’t have to travel far to indulge in the best prices Europe has to offer, according to data collected by OMIO.

Europe’s most expensive pints are to no surprise, in some of the more touristy capitals in Europe. Topping the list of most expensive pints, is Iceland’s capital Reykjavik, which is charging a wallet-shrinking €10.07! As you go down the list of the Top 10 Most Expensive Cities in Europe to get a pint, it doesn’t get much cheaper. With Oslo in Norway being €9.51 per pint, London in the United Kingdom charging €7.60 per pint, and Dublin in Ireland offering €6.50 per pint. You’ll have to bring your pot of gold to the pub if you want to have a drinking session in Dublin.


But there’s plenty off the beaten path to fall in love with, especially the beer prices. In the Czech Republic’s capital, Prague, you can get a pint for just €2.16, but that’s not the cheapest! Sofia, in Bulgaria, you can buy a pint for under two euro, at a wallet-fattening €1.94. If that’s still too expensive for you, Europe’s cheapest pint is found in Minsk, Belarus, where a pint will only cost you €1.05!

According to Numbeo, a beer in Portugal is a very affordable €3. Making Lisbon one of the cheaper capital cities in Europe to get yourself a cold one!
