“Our purpose, in the Government, is to meet the schedule of reaching 2% of the value of our budget as a percentage of GDP for the defense area by 2030. It is an ambitious schedule given that we will have to catch up on the delay that, in the meantime, has accumulated over the last few years”, revealed the leader of the Portuguese government.

“Our commitment to NATO, to our partners, to the Atlantic Alliance is total. From this point of view, we understand that we cannot just rely on words, this commitment must also be materialised in actions”, he highlighted.
