The works are scheduled to begin on June 13th, and the deadline for completion is 90 days.

The intervention, with a total investment of 391,875.73 euros, “is necessary to guarantee the operability, longevity and safe circulation of people, namely local residents and visitors who use the roads in their daily journeys”, says the Municipality of Tavira in a statement.

Currently, the roads show “cracks, surface disintegration and deformations that require conservation and maintenance work. In this sense, the existing guidelines and widths will be maintained and terrain modelling and pavement application, signage implementation and road marking will be carried out”, he adds.

The works will be carried out on the Section of EM508, between Capelinha and Entroncamento CM1235, on the entire Vale Formoso Municipal Path, on the Pontão da Barreira Municipal Path, in Vale Formoso, from EM397 to Quinta Mimosa, and on Estrada dos Arneiros, in São Marcos.
