The opening of the new store generated 12 new jobs and is part of the Spanish company's international expansion plan, which hopes to surpass 100 stores opened in Portugal by 2025, according to a report by Postal.
“We are excited to bring to Olhão our Spanish gastronomic offer recognised for its tapas and pints of beer at affordable prices. We believe that our customers will appreciate the diversity and quality of our products, as well as the welcoming atmosphere of our spaces. This new opening reinforces our commitment to growth in Portugal and to providing authentic and enjoyable culinary experiences to all our visitors”, states Restalia.
“The brand's restaurants are inspired by the aesthetics of Andalusian taverns, which constantly evoke their origins, and offer typical Mediterranean cuisine”, adds the Spanish company.
Founded in 2000, in Spain, and with more than ten years of presence in Portugal, 100 Montaditos stands out for the “great diversity and high quality of its tapas, as well as the welcoming atmosphere of its restaurants”.
In the Algarve, there are currently three 100 Montaditos stores: in Faro, at Mar Shopping Algarve, in Loulé; and in Albufeira.
Its expansion continues with openings in Cacém, Monte Gordo, Covilhã, and Vila Franca de Xira. Currently, 100 Montaditos has a presence in more than 400 locations globally.
