“We hope to be able to live up to 'the best lineup ever'”, said promoter Álvaro Covões, from Everything is New, about the next edition, making reference to the festival's slogan, which was held for the first time in 2007 and takes place annually in July, always in Passeio Marítimo de Algés.

The 2024 edition sold out to 55 thousand people per day, according to the promoter, who recalled that the lineup includes 124 artists, with 129 performances.

The president of the Oeiras City Council, Isaltino Morais, highlighted that the festival “has been a kind of engine for many transformations that have taken place” on the Algés Seafront.

“Over the next five years, we will see extraordinary transformations in this space”, the management of which is shared between the Municipality of Oeiras and the Administration of the Port of Lisbon, he said.

According to Isaltino Morais, accessibility to the Algés Promenade will be improved and there will be “the possibility of expanding the area”.

The transformations will take place “up to the mouth of the Jamor River, in order to guarantee the environmental preservation of the area and create conditions for it to be enjoyed by everyone”.
