The five puppies were born at the end of May, from two dogs from the GNR Cinotechnical Intervention Group. "Drago and Inês, two of our dogs from the Cinotécnico Intervention Group, have just become parents of a litter of 5 male puppies!", announced the GNR.

Later, the GNR once again turned to social media to "ask for help" from its followers in choosing the name. "Tradition dictates that each puppy in a new litter has a name starting with a letter from the alphabet, in order! This litter must have names starting with Y!".

Now, more than two months after the birth of the future recruits, the GNR announced that the five names were chosen based on the number of likes. They are Yerik, Yoda, York, Yoga, and Yankee.
