Sporting – national runner-up in the last five seasons – is determined to overtake the Eagles as favourites.

As for Sevilla, the Andalusian team reached seventh place in the Spanish League last season and is hoping to do even better in the 24/25 season.

The first match will be on 8 August between Sporting and Sevilla. The match between Sevilla and Benfica will follow the following day. The tournament will end with a Benfica-Sporting derby on the 10th.
