254 firefighters, supported by six aerial vehicles and 85 vehicles on the ground, are still fighting a fire that broke out on Saturday in Bragança, in the Montesinho Natural Park, according to information available from the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC).

In statements to Lusa early this morning, the Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Commander of the Lands of Trás-os-Montes, João Noel Afonso, said that the situation had not changed significantly overnight.
The fire alert was given at 7:55 pm on Saturday and, by early Sunday morning, there were two active fronts.
