PLAY is a low-cost airline that connects North America and Europe, with Iceland as its central hub. Passengers can take advantage of PLAY’s unique stopover option, which allows them to explore Iceland for up to 10 days at no additional cost before continuing their transatlantic journey.

In North America, PLAY operates flights from Baltimore, Boston, New York, Washington D.C. and Toronto.

Since launching its first flight in June 2021, PLAY has grown rapidly, now operating a fleet of 10 Airbus A320/321neo aircraft with an average age of just over two years.

“With the addition of Faro to our growing network, we are excited to offer more opportunities for travellers to explore the world affordably. This new route reflects our commitment to connecting North America and Europe through Iceland, providing our passengers with exceptional service and unforgettable experiences,” said Einar Örn Ólafsson, CEO of PLAY Airlines.
