In swimming, Marco Meneses will swim at 18:33 local time (17:33 in Lisbon) in the final of the 400-metre freestyle S11 (visual impairment), while Tomás Cordeiro will try in the morning, in the qualifiers, to get a place in the decisive 100-metre breaststroke SB9 (motor impairment), scheduled for the afternoon.

At the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Velodrome, Telmo Pinão will be running at 12:54 (11:54 in Lisbon) in the heats of the 3,000-meter individual pursuit, class C2, seeking a place in the two medal events scheduled for the afternoon.

In badminton, a competition taking place at the Arena Porte de La Chapelle, Beatriz Monteiro will start the group stage of the SU5 tournament.

In boccia, the group stage of the individual tournaments in the four categories will continue, with Ana Correia and Cristina Gonçalves competing in two matches in the BC2 event, while José Gonçalves (BC3), Carla Oliveira (BC4), and David Araújo (BC2) will compete in one match each.

Portugal will be competing in the Paris2024 Games, which run until September 8, with a delegation of 27 athletes, who will compete in a record number of 10 sports.
