According to an analysis carried out by experts, this last week brought an increase - albeit a slight one, of around 48 cents.

According to the Consumer Protection Association, it is not only the price of this 'package' that changes every seven days, but also the foods that have become more expensive.

Last week, it was broccoli, at around 49 cents... but what about since the beginning of the year?

According to the analysis, tuna in olive oil was the most expensive, with a 23% increase - which translates into 42 cents per kilo.

Cereal flakes are also on the podium, with an 11% increase. Since the beginning of the year, this product has gone up 27 cents.

Gala apples also saw a significant increase, in the order of 9%. Since 2024 began, this apple has gone up 19 cents per kilo.

DECO Proteste analyzed 63 essential products between August 28 and September 4.
