The defender, who is currently at FC Porto, participated in all four of Famalicão's league games. He even wore the captain's armband throughout the 2-0, 3-0, and 1-0 victories against Benfica and Boavista, as well as the 2-1 loss against V. Guimarães.

Francisco Moura defeated Ousmane Diomande (Sporting), who garnered 21.4 percent of the votes, and Ricardo Mangas (V. Guimarães), who earned 20.6 percent of the choices, with 24.6 percent of the votes from the coaches and players in the League.

Bruno Varela received recognition on Monday for being August's top keeper also.
