Etihad Airways increases Portugal winter flights

Etihad Airways has updated their timetables and have scheduled extra flights that the Abu Dhabi airline will operate to Lisbon during the winter season, during which the carrier will operate two additional flights per week between the Portuguese capital and the United Arab Emirates.

In total, Etihad Airways will operate six flights per week between Lisbon and Abu Dhabi between 1 November 2024 and 29 March 2025, taking place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Flights depart Lisbon at 08:25 and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 19:35, while flights in the opposite direction depart at 02:20, arriving in the Portuguese capital at 07:00, and are operated in both directions by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

The two new Etihad Airways frequencies are now available for booking.

Etihad is a wonderful airline. However as I understand it, in order to use Etihad to get to AU one has to fly Malaysian from KL. Sadly I would never do that!

Etihad is a very nice airline. I am happy to note that it is flying into Lisbon. However, if a passenger wishes to fly onward to Australia, they will need to fly Malaysian from KL which definitely does not appeal.
