A meteor strike was recorded near Calgary on the doorbell camera of 84-year-old Carol Farkas, a resident of the town of Ogden.

The video was shared by her granddaughter Krystal Markiewicz to CTV News Calgary and shows the meteor speeding across the sky.
The footage was backed up by another recording, captured on the dashcam of Bill Makowichuk, another resident.
