Diesel, the most widely used fuel in Portugal, is expected to rise by two cents and petrol by 2.5 cents, according to ECO.
Next week when you go to fill up, you will pay 1.562 euros per litre of diesel and 1.684 euros per litre of 95% petrol, taking into account the average prices charged at the pumps on Monday, published by the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG).
These figures already take into account the discounts applied by gas stations and the review of temporary tax measures to help mitigate the increase in fuel prices.
This week, diesel prices rose by 0.6 cents and gasoline prices fell by 0.3 cents. Diesel ended up rising slightly more than the market expected and gasoline prices fell by much less.
