Spanish bassist Vincen García will take the stage on opening night and American saxophonist Bill Evans on Saturday night for two unmissable concerts. Portuguese drummer Mário Costa, awarded for the best jazz album at the Play Awards, and luso-Brazilian Alexandre Frazão, who will be at the controls of the beat, will also perform.
Several generations of international musical stars and sounds are about to cross the stage and corridors of one of the most emblematic buildings in Porto’s granite landscape, recently recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The festival will showcase masterclasses, workshops, and performances from various artists, alongside displays of the latest drum kits and instruments, aiming to attract over 2,500 attendees daily, emphasizing its growth and the vibrant music scene in Porto.
