The Thai cabinet has approved the extension of the BHT20 flat fare on all trains on the national Red lines, which go from Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal to Taling Chan and to Rangsit, in Pathum Thani.

Suriya Jungrungreangkit, Transport Minister, said the goal of the BHT20 flat fare was to reduce the burden of expenses for the public, address inequality and improve accessibility for all citizens.
This fare also applies to the Bangkok MRT’s Purple line from Tao Poon to Khlong Bang Phai and will last until November 2025 at minimum.
