This need “fills a gap left by the closure of the old tourist office, which was deactivated during the renovation works on the Marginal and Walkway of Monte Gordo beach and never reopened”, says Vila Real de Santo António Council.

This was, in fact, a long-standing demand from traders, hoteliers, residents and tourists, who now see their need for a space dedicated to welcoming tourists met.

This investment follows the inauguration of the Vila Real de Santo António Tourist Office, which opened to the public on City Day, 13th May.

The investment will be around 124 thousand.
