American rock band Guns N’ Roses will perform on June 6 at the Estádio Cidade de Coimbra, offering fans a chance to experience hits such as “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, “November Rain”, and “Welcome to the Jungle”.
On this tour, Guns N’ Roses will be accompanied by special guests Rival Son and will play stadiums and festivals in 24 cities, debuting in Saudi Arabia, Georgia and Luxembourg, while also returning to familiar venues in countries like Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom.
Led by Axl Rose (vocals, piano) and also Duff McKagan (bass), Slash (lead guitar), Dizzy Reed (keyboard), Richard Fortus (rhythm guitar), Frank Ferrer (drums) and Melissa Reese (keyboard), Guns N’ Roses were in Portugal, most recently, in 2022.
The band has been on the rise again after 3 of the original members reunited in 2016, having since come out with new singles such as “Hard Skool” and “The General”. 2025 is expected to be a busy year for Guns N’ Roses, described by Slash as being “entirely dedicated” to the group.

Tickets for the Coimbra concert are available through various outlets, ranging from €90 to €155 at https://ticketline.sapo.pt/, and fans are encouraged to secure their sport early for what promises to be an unmissable night.

Pixies – The Night The Zombies Came Tour
The Pixies will arrive in Lisbon as part of “The Night The Zombies Came Tour”, performing on May 10 at Sagres Campo Pequeno to showcase their new album, which was released on October 25, 2024.

The year also marked significant milestones for the band, including the launch of their 10th studio album and the 35th anniversary of “Doolittle”, which catapulted them to success in the UK, and 20 years since their reunion at Coachella.
“The Night The Zombies Came” features 13 tracks that explore dark, cinematic themes, mixing elements of folk, punk, and science fiction, that blend a unique gothic style that sounds reminiscent of Ennio Morricone’s westerns.
Black Francis, lead singer, described the process of creating the album as a montage of fragments that come together to form a “musical film”. Produced once again by Tom Dalgety, the album was recorded in Vermont, creating a distinctive sound, especially with its dry, tight drumming.
Tickets are available for purchase now, costing between €30 and €60, via https://ticketline.sapo.pt/
