The districts of Faro, Setúbal, Lisbon and Beja will be under warning from 6am, while in the districts of Portalegre and Évora the alert will come into effect at 12pm.

The yellow warning will be in effect in the six districts at least until 3 pm due to "showers, sometimes heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms", said the IPMA, in a statement.

Today minimum temperatures will range between 4 degrees Celsius (in Bragança) and 13 (in Faro) and maximum temperatures between 7 degrees (in Guarda) and 18 (in Santarém and Setúbal
