The aim of this change is to “facilitate public access to the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium’s shows,” announced the city hall.
“This service comes as a result of the implementation of the new logo for the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, carried out as part of the facility's application for programming support from the Directorate General for the Arts, and the accreditation of this facility, which has been part of the Portuguese Theatre and Cinema Network since 2021”, explained Lagoa Council.
The new Cultural Passport of the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium maintains, however, “the existence of a physical card associated with the customer, which can be collected at the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium and allows the purchase of tickets at the physical ticket offices of the CML and at other usual points of sale, such as Fnac or Worten”.
“Once purchased, the Cultural Passport must be activated/reactivated annually for a period of 12 months. For the general public aged 26 to 64, it costs 10 euros, and for young people (aged 6 to 25), workers of the Municipality of Lagoa, people aged 65 and over and people with disabilities it costs 5 euros”.
Holders of this passport have: “30% discount on ticket purchases for people aged 26 to 64; 50% discount for people aged 13 to 25 and over, inclusive; 50% discount for deaf or disabled people; 50% for workers in the Municipality; Free entry for children aged 6 to 12 and for one accompanying person of deaf or disabled people”.
