Based in Carvoeiro, Algarve, Bespoke specialises in tailored architectural projects and project management. Led by Managing Director and Senior Architect, John Wilson, Bespoke’s team is committed to innovative ideas, high-quality designs and seamless project execution.
Company recognition
Bespoke has recently been honoured with a prestigious international architecture award, recognising the team’s dedication, innovation, and excellence in design. The entire team will travel in May 2025 to attend the award ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey. Now an award-winning architecture firm, Bespoke aims to leverage its recognition to further expand its presence and continue delivering a strong reputation for high-quality, tailored architectural solutions.
Throughout the years, Bespoke has built a strong reputation for being practical, responsive, imaginative, and professional. While the company has primarily operated in Carvoeiro, the Managing Director John Wilson has revealed how the company is expanding to other areas, mainly in the south of Portugal.
Currently, Bespoke has several exciting projects underway, worth mentioning the ones in Silves, where two major developments will be constructed. “We’ve got a lot of exciting new projects which we are starting this year”, John Wilson revealed. One of them is a rural tourism with 18 units, designed to offer a peaceful getaway, while the other is an agriculture-based rural tourism hotel, set to break the ground by the end of the year.
During 2025, the company will also be working on projects in Lagos and Albufeira, further solidifying its position as a leading force in the region.
Made to measure designs
Bespoke embodies its name by delivering personalised architectural solutions that prioritise customer satisfaction, distinguishing itself through exceptional communication skills and unique project execution. As John Wilson defends, Bespoke strives to develop unique projects within the client’s desired style, balancing aesthetic appeal, budget, and legal requirements, meaning that the client's vision guides their work, ensuring that each project is both distinctive and personalised.
With a team of seven architects, a project manager, an administrative, and an intern, the company is well-structured for growth. Bespoke values collaboration, treating clients as key partners in every project. This means that some clients provide an outline and images to the company in order for them to create their dream development, while others trust the team to create everything from scratch. Regardless of the approach, clients are always actively involved throughout the process. This commitment to tailored service and seamless communication has led many clients to return for future projects, reinforcing Bespoke’s reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction.
A high-standard company
Specialising in architectural design, project management, and development, the company prioritises creating solutions that align with clients’ lifestyles. John Wilson states that the design process is complex, and it involves balancing countless factors, from lighting to privacy, ensuring both aesthetics and functionality. While expansion is a goal, Bespoke remains committed to maintaining its high standards rather than diversifying its services. “We strive to maintain the company's reputation and give our clients the best services possible, and we do this by conducting our work in a very professional manner”, John Wilson reveals.
The company is also at the forefront of architectural evolution, continuously integrating new technologies and unique design concepts. A standout example is the Sky Base One project, inspired by science fiction, which has gained recognition for its innovative materials, design, and impact. Moreover, by using advanced 3D visualisation, Bespoke enhances client understanding and brings complex architectural visions to life.
The implementation of a project
Regarding the implementation matter, Bespoke follows a comprehensive project implementation process, beginning with plot analysis and client consultations to ensure feasibility before purchase. As explained by John Wilson, the company only accepts projects it is confident will gain approval. Part of the implementation of a project is the licensing process which involves submitting technical architectural and engineering projects for approval, followed by the refinement of materials, specifications, and costs in the detailed project stage. The project concludes with careful project management, ensuring smooth execution and satisfaction.
Consequently, an easy client experience and faultless project execution are made possible by Bespoke's impeccable approval record and emphasis on straightforward communication.
