The north: A brighter day is expected on Saturday with some scattered showers and highs of 17 degrees and lows of 7 degrees. From Sunday, a mixture of sunshine and showers is forecast each day, with highs reaching 19 degrees by Wednesday, although it could feel cooler thanks to northerly winds.

The centre: Following a wet Friday, a dry day is predicted for Saturday, with some intermittent cloud and highs of 16 degrees, and nightly lows of 7 degrees. From Sunday, the rain is to return, however, only light scattered showers are expected each day with prolonged periods of sunshine and highs of 18 degrees.

The south: A slight chance of rain is forecast over the weekend; however, it is to be mainly dry and bright on both days, with highs of 20 degrees on Sunday and lows of 10 degrees. From Monday, the rain is to return, however, showers are to be light and scattered, with temperatures remaining at highs of 20 degrees.

Madeira: A dry weekend is forecast in Funchal with clouds clearing further on Sunday and temperatures peaking at 20 degrees with lows of 14 degrees. From Monday, there will once again be a chance of rain, but it will feel warm, with highs of 21 degrees.

The Azores: A break in the rain is forecast for Saturday when temperatures are to reach highs of 18 degrees with lows of 10 degrees. On Sunday, heavy showers and sunny spells are expected with highs of 18 degrees and lows of 12 degrees.
