Starting on Monday, July 21st, Porto Metro's summer schedules will come into effect.
These schedule adjustments, the company explains, will be, "as always, adjusted to the mobility trends of our users," according to a statement reported by Notícias ao Minuto.
"During a period marked by school holidays and increased traffic in typical leisure areas, the Metro is redirecting its services, taking these two factors into account," the statement reads.
Porto Metro explains that one line will undergo a notable adjustment: the Blue Line.
"Of particular note is the Blue Line (A), which, on weekdays, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, will now have six vehicles running every ten minutes in both directions," the statement reads.
Furthermore, on the Yellow Line (D), "it is also worth noting the six trips per hour, also in both directions, during the morning and afternoon rush hours during the week."
