With free admission, the Youth Party promises to celebrate youthful spirit, diversity, and freedom in a relaxed atmosphere where music, colour, and energy combine with the sunset to create a memorable experience.
Throughout the afternoon and evening, the public will enjoy performances by guest DJs, moments of entertainment, and the now-traditional throwing of coloured powder, which transforms the sand into a veritable moving rainbow.
The lineup for the party features the following:
6pm - 8pm: DJ Red Deep
8pm - 9:30pm: Joana Perez and Solange
9:30pm - 11pm: Meninos da Vadiagem
11pm - 1am: Ricardo Coimbra
For the best experience, organisers recommend: wearing white or light -coloured clothing so the colours are more visible; bringing a small backpack to store your cell phone, keys, and other items you want to protect from coloured dust; applying sunscreen; staying hydrated throughout the event by bringing water and using the on-site sale points; and lastly, participating with good humour and spirit of camaraderie, respecting the space and other participants.
This year’s edition of the Youth Festival - Sunset Colour Party reinforces its commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment. Among the measures implemented, the use of reusable cups and the adoption of good environmental practices throughout the event are key.
The festival is organised by the (A)garra Youth Association of Lagos, with constitutional support from the Lagos City Council, the parish councils of São Gonçalo de Lagos and Odiáxere, and the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ). It is also sponsored by the ADM+ Group, Multirental, Tantalinha, and My Dynamic, with support from CJR and Diversão Festas.
