In a statement, the Faro district municipality explained that the overall investment of €1,659,401 includes financial, logistical, transportation, and facilities support.

According to the mayor, José Carlos Rolo, quoted in the statement, "this support allows us to further promote Albufeira, both in terms of the results achieved by athletes at the national and international level, and in improving the operating conditions of various associations in the social, cultural, and sports fields."

The financial cooperation program protocols and contracts were signed with 28 sports associations and clubs and 12 motorsport drivers in the municipality.
