According to the event's organisers, the Associação Cultural Fazendo, "for six consecutive evenings, the public can attend concerts, participate in workshops, discover local and international crafts, sample different flavours at the Street Food Fair and enjoy a program designed for all ages."
The 2026 program centres on Azorean cultural traditions, world music, blues, folk, and experimental music. Key highlights include the World Championship of Cory's Shearwater Imitation, carousels, fire shows, participatory dances, and acroyoga workshops.
The Fazendo Cultural Association reveals a novelty for this edition: an acrobatics and circus show aboard a sailboat docked next to Praça do Infante. This reinforces the festival's connection to the sea and creates a unique setting for an artistic experience unlike the usual one.
The Craft Fair will bring together dozens of independent creators and projects, while the Street Food Fair will once again occupy the square with offerings ranging from traditional recipes to flavours from other regions.
“More than a succession of shows, the Maravilha Festival establishes itself as a meeting point between people, generations and cultures. A place where you can listen to music, learn a new dance, exchange stories, discover an artisan, try a different dish or simply enjoy the late afternoon by the sea,” the organisation emphasises.
