An official source from the GNR told Lusa that this new nautical patrol vessel was launched in the Lower Sabor.

“This is a strategic priority that the GNR command has assigned to waters where navigation is possible, where there is a tourist attraction, such as recreation or fishing, where it is important for us to maintain the safety of people,” the same source indicated.

This new operational resource also reinforces the GNR's capacity to act as the National Environmental Police in protecting nature and the environment, contributing to more effective surveillance and strengthening detection, monitoring, and control actions in the navigable basins of the Bragança district.
