The Algarve's Chameleon Research and Recovery Centre will take shape in the Ria Formosa Natural Park.
The project foresees a partnership with the University of Algarve, and aims to raise awareness as to the risk of extinction of the species, and, on the other, use the chameleon for regional tourism promotion.
Excellent, I live in rio formosa and have regular visits of chameleons in my garden, they are coming to drink in one of my ponds with koi carp, and then walking around, its only 3 days ago when a young one was here! I wish you all good luck and look forward to visit!
