“There are talks going on between Porto city hall and Amazon, but, at the moment we are not saying anything else”, the city hall communication office told Lusa News Agency-
‘Negócios’ newspaper wrote today that Amazon is arriving in Portugal shortly and the official announcement may come in March.
It added that Porto “is on the list to be the new home of the online retailer that has been interested in the Portuguese market since 2016”.
A source close to the process confirmed that the company is in talks with the city hall and wants to set up shop in the Boavista area”, the paper added.
