Chinese businessman attacked and robbed of €25,000 in Benfica

A Chinese businessman was attacked and robbed by five men with batons during the early hours of Sunday morning after leaving Lisbon Casino.

Newspaper Correio da Manhã says that the man was followed by his assailants from the Casino to Benfica where he was threatened and robbed.
According to the report the man had €20,000 in cash and €5,000 in casino chips on him, after landing a windfall at the casino. PSP police were called.
