The organisation said a new law for climate change was necessary to register the key targets of the country's roadmap for Carbon Neutrality for 2050.
Zero also pointed out that the carbon neutrality by 2050 strategy aimed for 100 percent renewable energy generation and the decarbonisation of transport.
Another challenge for 2019 is altering the country's waste policy to encourage a "true circular economy," aligning national goals with European ones by reducing waste sent to landfill and for incineration, increasing recycling and composting, Zero added.
Other aims include the adoption of an integrated plan for rural fires, already approved by the government, and involving the population to effectively apply the plan for efficient use of water, using treated wastewaters and reusing "grey water" and rainwater.
