The permit, which will become mandatory after 'Brexit', has already been requested by around 69,200 Portuguese nationals, making it the fourth nationality with most applications.


The British Home Office said today that the number of requests from Portuguese people represents about 17 percent of the approximately 400,000 nationals that Portuguese authorities estimate to be resident in the United Kingdom.
