Denmark removed the mobility restrictions previously imposed on passengers coming from Portugal with the measure coming into effect this Saturday, August 1.
A note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Government considers that this decision is recognition of the "positive evolution of the epidemiological situation in Portugal, namely the ability to test on a large scale, detect positive cases, control their transmission and treat them in the most appropriate way".

On 760 cases that is roughly 7.6 per 100,000 infection rate.
The Algarve is roughly 3 per 100,000 now.
Spain

Week ending 6//7/20 - 4590 cases
Week ending 13/7/20 - 9016 cases

England
The ONS last figures for England is estimated at 2,800 new cases per day or 19,600 per week for the week ending 20/7/20 and also states that the current infection rate is 5.2 per 100,000.
As such the Algarve is less than England and the whole of Portugal is just above England with the most telling factor being that Spain is on and Portugal off even though Spain has a rising infection rate over the last three weeks and Portugal has declined.
As such Portugal is now 7.6 per 100,000 and Spain is 18.7 per 100,000 infection rate.
Until Portugal start standing up to some nations that sees themselves as supper nations, this discrimination will continue.
In my honest opinion, if you don’t allow us the Portuguese to come into your country, we won’t allow your citizens to come into our country.
No nation should feel that they are sustaining the other coz we all need each other one way or the other.

Stay healthy Portugal...

It is pretty obvious you would be many times safer in the Algarve watching Portimonense FC beat Benfica than Burnley beating Man Utd at Old Trafford, -which they did by the way. The treatment of our oldest ally has been a disgrace.
Some parts of the UK Government could not arrange a p... up in phone box for 2 people.
