Eight men arrested for drug trafficking in Portimão

Eight men have been arrested on suspicion of trafficking drugs, particularly in the Portimão area, the Public Prosecutor's Office (MP) announced Tuesday.

Three of these men were arrested by order of the Public Prosecutor and another five were caught in the act. According to the Public Prosecutor’s accusation the detainees are of Portuguese and Cape Verdean nationality and believed to be responsible for selling cocaine, heroin and cannabis in the Portimão area.

Drugs is a massive problem everywhere but little is being done when these people are arrested. Lock them up and throw away the key if they are locals. Deport them if they are not.
