In a statement of the balance of the operational activity of Saturday night and Sunday dawn, the National Republican Guard said that 63 people were arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol, 24 for driving without legal authorization, three for drug trafficking, two for possession of a prohibited weapon and one for domestic violence.
In 12 hours, the GNR military also seized 271 doses of cannabis, 258 doses of heroin, 66 doses of MDMA, 22 doses of hashish, 13 doses of cocaine, 10 doses of cannabis, a firearm and another bladed weapon.
Within the scope of traffic surveillance, GNR detected 739 infractions, 182 of which for driving with a blood alcohol level higher than permitted by law, 58 for lack of mandatory periodic inspection, 55 for speeding and 33 for lack or incorrect use seat belt or child seats.
This security force also registered 23 infractions for lack of mandatory civil liability insurance, 13 related to tachographs and seven for using the mobile phone while driving.
According to GNR, there were 22 accidents that caused four serious injuries and 12 minor injuries.
