"The Clark County attorney's office announced today [Monday] that it will decline to prosecute a 10-year-old sexual assault allegation against Cristiano Ronaldo," says a statement posted by the office on social networks. “Based upon a review of the information presented at this time, the allegations of sexual assault against Cristiano Ronaldo cannot be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.”
In September of last year, Kathryn Mayorga, born in 1984, lodged a complaint against Ronaldo for a crime that she said was committed in 2009.
The case was reopened after Mayorga submitted new information on the alleged crime, in response to a request from the authorities. In the state of Nevada, sexual offences are not affected by any statute of limitations when they have already been duly reported to the authorities.
Lawyers for Ronaldo always said that whatever happened between the footballer and Mayorga was by mutual agreement.
Gold digger rules: 1) Find a rich celeb and have a one-night stand. 2) Go to the police and report it as a rape. You know they are legally bound to do a DNA “rape kit”. IMPORTANT : refuse to tell them who it was or where it happened, otherwise they will investigate and spoil your plan. 3) Go to a hot lawyer and have them threaten your mark with a rape prosecution. Ask for big money or you will tell the police who you are accusing. 4) When you have spent all the money, check if they are still famous. If yes, go back and ask for more.
