Job quality is assessed by the Paris-based organisation - the club of industrialised economies - via three parameters: earnings, job security and working environment.
Based on data from 2013 Portugal was 22nd in terms of earnings, with Switzerland coming top, a report released by the OECD shows.
In terms of job security Portugal ranked 30th above only Italy, Spain and Greece, on a list in which Iceland did best.
In terms of working environment, Portugal was 14th in the OECD ranking.
