The 90-minute long radio debate will be aired on radio stations TSF, Antenna 1 and Radio Renascença.


This will be a final opportunity for the two leaders to attempt to make their strongest points, as official campaigning for the October 4 election starts this Sunday.


Latest polls show very little to choose between the ruling coalition and the opposition Socialists, with neither expected to gain an outright majority in Parliament.
