The men, aged 49 and 50, are suspected of a series of thefts from inside cars and were chased by police from Cascais before they crashed at a crossing on Lisbon’s Descobertas Avenue at around 5pm.

They were taken to the São Francisco Xavier Hospital where they were admitted and kept under police custody. If the suspects are well enough today, they will be brought before Cascais court.
