The Council of Ministers approved a resolution that determines the prohibition of movement between different councils of the mainland in the period between 00:00 am on 30 October and 00:30 am on 3 November.
Workers are able to circulate between municipalities during this time only with "a declaration from the employer that attests that they are in the performance of their professional activities". Citizens can only move outside their municipality of residence, "for health reasons or other reasons of imperative urgency".
Hi, do you by any chance also know how this will affect tourists? We need to return a rental car in Lisbon next week and would obviously like to be able to leave the city after :)

To whom it may concern,
I am a German tourist cycling in Portugal for 1 year (I am travelling alone). Are tourists also not allowed to travel between 30.10. and 03.11.?
Do I have to wear now a mask while cycling?
Would appreciate an answer as my Portuguese is too limited to find answers in Portuguese media.
Muito obrigado

I suggest the Government start with Football Clubs, their not important...Human life is right...Meanwhile, I'm in Porto supporting your Economy...Restricting folks will not stop a virus or anything...Look at History, Some People don't care or have an invested interest in Doom And Gloom...Profits...Bom Dia!

Is this really happening in Europe and EU?
Many businesses and especially hotel, restaurants and tourism id already damaged, and now I can say with confidence many investors and also people who bought houses in Portugal are going to sell what they can and withdraw, who can live and work in a system where people for reason of a flu from one day to the other are locked inside their neighbourhoods.
This is not legal, the Finnish government did this in March and the courts said and ruled the government was violating the constitution, freedom om movement could not be infringed upon for any reason during peace time.

its funny to see foreigners coming from their countries which are way worse than Portugal complaining about this lockdown! Just stay in your own damn country and dont bring more Covid, we dont need turists during this time, dont come and pretend everything is ok!

It is a total dictatorship. More than 30000 people were attending during the by the government sponsored F1 last week and now we cannot move around between councils where there might be not any cases, without the police harassing us. People should not allow this to happen.

I need to travel from odemira to portimao for the renewal of my residency card. Can I travel?
By Simranjit Kaur from Alentejo on 29 Oct 2020, 10:03
To Ze who made a comment 27.10. How embarrassing you are! I am so happy that not all portuguese are like you! You are the worst example. Blaming tourists. They actually present negative corona tests when they arrive and they follow rules. While portuguese people continue their pig behaviours, not wearing masks and spitting everywhere, not keeping distance and not keeping hygiene. Blame your own people and your own country, you pig. Also, you NEED tourists here for your economy. Without tourists you would have NO ECONOMY because you are unable to be smart on your own. So keep on being an asshole to tourists but dont cry when your country goes to shit again because of your unbelievable, laughable stupidity. You bitter asshole.

I have a flight at 1900hrs on Saturday December the 5th. They have said that no vehicles can go on any public road from 1300hrs to 0500hrs the next day. Do I go early or am I exempt with an airline ticket/boarding pass? Anyone?
