The 2 October page was particularly good, with Dr John Clare bemoaning the fatuousness of mask-wearing still in evidence, while Hazel from Tavira points out that there were plans in place to deal with a global pandemic, while failing to note that most governments did not follow such plans, but chose to ape China’s authoritarian approach with much loss of personal freedom. Hazel also mentioned the differences in approach taken by individual states in the USA, while failing to observe that the outcomes for fatalities were better in some states that didn’t have lockdowns than for some that did. With such a wide divergence of opinion, who could fail to be entertained?
