Storm Filomena is currently sweeping southern Portugal and the Madeira archipelago, bringing with her strong rain, high winds and rough seas. The effects of storm Filomena are expected to last until tomorrow and add stormy weather to the chilly polar blast that has seen thermometers plummet in recent days.
