The districts of Guarda and Castelo Branco will be under the yellow warning until 15:00 today.
The yellow warning is issued by IPMA whenever the weather situation represents a risk for certain activities.
The IPMA forecasts for today on the continent, skies with periods of cloudiness, gradually becoming less cloudy or clear from mid-afternoon, and a drop in temperatures.
The forecast also points to light showers until mid-afternoon, being more frequent on the coast and highlands of the North and Centre regions, and snow above 1,400 metres in altitude.
The minimum temperatures will fluctuate between 3 degrees Celsius (in Vila Real, Guarda and Viseu) and 11 (in Faro) and the maximum between 8 degrees (in Guarda) and 19 (in Faro).
