The new agreement signed between the two entities foresees the financing of green and sustainable housing projects that include, above all, building renovation projects, but also the acquisition of houses with “high standards of energy efficiency”.

This new partnership between UCI - a 'joint venture' between Banco Santander and the BNP Paribas Group - and the EIB involves an investment of 50 million euros; the project aims to contribute to the mitigation of climate change and is in line with the European Commission's "wave of renewals".
