This man is a moron.He allowed relaxation over christmas which caused the current disaster,having ignored all the medical advice.
Now ignoring all the medical advice again,he want to keep schools open when we know schools are super spreader petri dishes.
These people are out of their depth and should go.
They are creating an even bigger disaster with each awful decision.
Guess who pays? We do.

Loose reporting like this, without clarification or analysis, is not helpful.
The headline says keep schools open for over 12s, suggesting schools may close for under 12s.
Yet, the final paragraph says "until the age of 12, nothing justifies the closure of schools".
So, which is it? What are the considerations? What's the advice of medical experts?
When it comes to the health of our kids, politics takes a back seat. Medical advice based on the best data we have is what is important.
This article has done nothing but muddy the waters.
Not only should our political and medical leaders do better in communicating key information, the reporters and editors of this publication should do better too.

I SINCERELY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE POLITICS THEREIN. ALL THAT MATTERS TO ME AND OTHERS ARE OUR HOUSE RENTS. NO EMPLOYER PAYS DURING LOCKDOWNS. I CAN ONLY POINT OUT THE INCOHERENCIES BETWEEN GOVERNMENT AGENCIES IN TACKLING THE SOCIAL ASPECT OF THESE LOCKDOWNS.

A truly innaccurate article. It is not Grade 12s who are likely to remain in school, but children age 12 and under. Cannot believe this very poor article which will just confuse all readers and provide them with totally incorrect information.

This is completely ridiculous, they're saying strict lockdown but the school will be opened. Students are sitting next to each other there's no distance maintenance and no proper facilities I get it you are providing sanitizers and masks but who knows where the other students are coming from what have they touched sanitizers don't help in everything if someone gets effected iys possible everyone will be hospitals are packed there aren't enough rooms what are we supposed to do? Just wait to die or what and family living in a apartment of 2 bedrooms with 5 people what are they supposed to do. Online learning is the safest way but no they want school to be open now it's more serious and dangerous for students and their families.
