The Barlavento Basin remains in the red, with the least water, 12.6% in October when the value was 14.2% in September.

At the end of October, the Arade basin stored 31% of water (32.3% in September) and the Mira basin 37.2% [37.5% in September).

Conversely, the basins with the most water were, on the last day of last month, Cávado, with 78%, Guadiana, with 76.6% and Ave, with 76.2%.

According to the SNIRH report, at the end of October and in relation to the previous month, there was an increase in the volume stored in seven river basins and a drop in five.

The report also indicates that of the 59 monitored reservoirs, on October 31st, five had water availability greater than 80% of the total volume and 17 had water availability less than 40% of the total volume.
