The Health Ministry has revealed the first round of vaccinations will cover pre-school and primary staff.
Teaching staff will be contacted during the course of today and will have until tomorrow to confirm their willingness to be vaccinated. Officials say all teachers and staff will be receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Depending on numbers, jabs will take place at special vaccination centres, health centres or at schools.
Good news that they are giving teachers the choice to take or not take the injection. With concerns in many countries about the Astrazenica serious side effects (clotting, death), every individual has the human right to determine what medical procedure and drug is put into their body. You can't remove the chemicals in the vaccine once they have been put into you body.
