The protest, symbolically designated as a wake, will take place throughout today in front of Parliament in Lisbon, and in six other cities: Porto, Évora, Faro, Funchal, Ponta Delgada and Angra do Heroísmo.

The informal Vigília Cultura e Artes group emerged in May 2020 to promote a protest that took place in 17 Portuguese cities to warn of the precarious situation of workers in Culture, exacerbated by the pandemic of the covid-19.
