The North American rapper Post Malone will take the Rock in Rio main stage for the first time, on the closing day of the festival's 9th edition.
Another first is the North American singer, songwriter, actor and dancer Jason Derulo, singer of songs including "Savage Love", "Want to Want me" and "Trumpets", who also performs on the 26th, also on Palco Mundo.
The Brazilian artist Anitta will also be performing. She was recently named by Billboard USA as one of the 15 most influential people in the world on social networks, recently released the album "Girl From Rio", which includes the songs "Me Gusta", in partnership with Cardi B and Myke Towers, and "Girl From Rio".
Another name announced is that of the Portuguese band HMB who will open the World Stage, of the "city of rock", on the final day of the 9th edition.
The 9th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa, scheduled for 2020, has been rescheduled for 18, 19, 25 and 26 June next year, at its usual venue, Parque da Bela Vista, in Lisbon.
The Foo Fighters, The National and Liam Gallagher have already been announced for the World Stage, on 18 June 2022, and Duran Duran, a-ha, Xutos & Pontapés and Bush, for 25 June 2022.
The organisation clarifies that tickets already purchased for the last day of the festival, both for the original 2020 date and the one planned for 2021, remain valid.
